Hi folks, proud new Benz owner here. My first 
Had a question on the display on the speedometer that shows the km. When I unlock the car...the display turns on and shows the cars milage. Is there a way to change what it shows or to turn it off from showing?

Mine has always done this from new. Whatever mode I leave the car in when switching off it always reverts to this when switching on. Not aware of a way to disable it. May be possible in "engineering menu" but have never seen it mentioned in this forum in 6 years of reading them.

My understanding is the 2013+ C300 will remember your last screen setting when powering the car on. It will show the mileage as the only screen when powered off though. This is probably to make things easy for dealers and whatnot when they have to verify car mileage.
I have only owned the 2013 and 2014 C300 and that is how mine both work.
