I'm not home and my father told me that my battery died. I'm overseas and I'm currently researching what dimensions the battery is. I've seen 3 types of batteries in this car but I want to make sure I am getting the right one. (I know you're probably wondering, why doesn't his dad just take the picture, measure it himself. He works a lot and just doesn't have the time. Nor do my siblings. Plus my sibs aren't mechanically inclined to do something of the sort)
I looked on amazon and found this battery && I'm not sure if this one will fit or if it's the right kind to put in my c300.
I don't know the exact dimensions of the battery. As important as physical size are where the terminals are placed, the type of terminal and hold-down method.
The 2008 C300 uses either a group 94R battery for the usual wet acid-lead battery or H-7 battery AGM battery.
You can check out what batteries fit online at Auto Zone and/or Advance Auto as examples. Most all battery companies make this size.
This links to a short video of how to change battery. It shows a W203 C300 but except for some minor differences in removing the cover is the same as a W204.

I seen the Varta Silver 12V 84AH 700A battery but only MB has those and I can't buy them online since they only sell in Europe.
I did contact a nearby MB dealer, but they haven't responded yet.

The Absorbed Glass Mat is the correct type of battery.
