Neat. I'm not sure $40 neat, but still neat. If I wore sunglasses more it might be worth it.

Thanks!

The sunglass holder came from Europe so it might be a Euro-spec thing. I don't recall how much I paid for it but I don't think it was $40.

Looks good, I like the eyeglass holder also. Did you change the ambient lights in the door handles and if so how difficult was it? Were the door pins easy to change?

No, I wasn't sure how to change the lighting in the door handles. I would like to do it at some point though.

The door pins were easy to change. The front ones just unscrew and the rear ones kind of pop off.

Could you explain how you installed the sunglasses holder?

It's just a straight swap with the handle. In the UK these sort of holders are expensive for BMW and Merc but they are the same size as those fitted in cheaper cars, i.e. Ford and GM so that's a cheaper option on ebay.

I understand the idea. I bought the sunglass holder and just want a step by step of how to install it.

Did you change the lights in the footwells, and if so are they brighter while driving than the stock bulbs were? I like the headlights. Could you post a picture of the entire front end , lit up?

To install the sunglass holder:

On the handle above the door, there will be two little clip/covers near the bottom. Pop them open and pull the handle off. It should just pop out. The sunglass holder just pops in but I'm not sure if there are any clips or anything but I don't believe so. It's really easy if you have any more questions feel free to ask.

I intended on switching out the footwell lights but once I installed them I didn't care for the look. They were a bit too bright. I ended up just taking them out so there's no light now since I didn't want the old yellow ones to clash with the new LEDs.

I can take a pic of everything lit up and post it soon.
