2010 Mercedes-Benz C300
Newbie here needs advice
Hey, I'm new to the forum and I would really love some help. So, I recently bought a C300. Nice condition, low mileage and a clean carfax. Everything seemed to be perfect, I've been driving it for a 4 months now. Not a single problem. Until my friend asked me if I wanted to check my vin history, cause he got this package of reports and had some of them free. As i checked it, i saw photos from some auction, that wasn't even on my carfax. The car looked terrible, half of it's front was gone, however on the next sale (where i subsequently bought it) showed a bright and shiny mercedes, just as it sits today.
Now, i don't feel safe driving a car like that. Even though it's behaving ok. Have I reason to doubt? I have photos, and I'm going to get it looked at on the weekend. But what is the worst that could happen to it?
And a few other questions: has anyone ever gone through the carfax buyback programme? i heard its rather tricky
And has anyone ever heard of https://www.epicvin.com/en - that's the site that i got my second report at? can it be trusted?

2010 C300, 2013 C63 AMG
That wrecked car in the picture is an entirely different model from a C300 (it's a 2012 SLK, correct me if I'm wrong). Assuming your car is the one in your profile pic, the auction house likely just mixed up the pictures with another salvage car on the lot while writing up the report. No way a CarFax would miss something like that (a totalled brand new SLK, that was completely rebuilt as a 2010 W204??).
