How to take the chrome part off athe licence plate bulbs on c220 w204
Ive bought some 18smd led licence plate bulbs for my car but im having trouble fitting them in. Its c229 w204 57 plate. Has anyone else tried fitting these in. Ive been told i have to take the chrome part off the access the bulbs ? But how do you take it off?

1. Take all the clips off the inside trunk lid and remove the fabric piece.
2. Remove the 2 torx screws in the trim panel above the license plate.
3. Now reach up thru the inside and there will be 2 sets of tabs. Squeeze them and pull down while pushing the panel downward toward the plate.
