Mercedes Benz C250 W204
Inquiry about c250 mods !!
Hey guys, i have a C250 (w204). I wanted to ask you if anyone has changed their exhaust (full). I wanted to make the car sound like it's got a v8.
And can I use brake pads from a C63 to improve breaking or will it just break something.
Any other mods I could make except from those and adding a power chip and changing the air filter to get a few more horsepower.

there is a thread of someone that put C63 breaks all round on the car but its 3000$ and google x-pipe a lot of people do that to get a louder sound.
and if you want a complete exhaust change your looking at around 4000+++$ something like armytrix there are others but its all about the same price. I was quoted for my C300(not armytrix but a similar set up as they done make anything for a C300 only the 250's) at 4500 for one set up and 5500$ for another might as well buy a C63 lol

Nothing will really make it sound like a V8, but if looking for a good quality full exhaust... look to Akrapovic, Eisenmann, or Meisterschaft. Be prepared to pay, although you might be lucky and find one used on the classified here.

Definitely though try swapping out the resonator for an x-pipe or straight pipes first and see if you like the sound as that's the cheapest option and for most, will get you to an acceptable audible growl range. After that, then exhaust, headers, cat delete, etc will start getting costly. There's a longtube system out also I believe.

you're right, missed that was a 250. You'd just straight pipe it then when removing the resonator.
