Engine over heating, mild pulse, AC only cold while driving
Hi, I tried searching previous threads for this but couldn't find anything exactly like my issue.
On my 2012 C300, the engine gets extremely hot (red lining at 120C) anytime I am not moving. The AC blows warm air anytime I'm not driving as well.
Normally I would think it would be a coolant issue but there's also a mild vibration that pulsates every few seconds while I'm stopped or in park.
What could it be? Most likely covered under the warranty?

There could be an issue with your coolant system, but it is critical that you DO NOT drive the car if your engine is overheating. You will damage your engine.
It's possible the issue would be covered by warranty, so call ahead and inform the dealership of the issue. They will be able to provide some insight.
Arrange for a tow from where the car is to the dealership. Again, do not drive the car.

Sound as though the cooling fan is not cutting in to provide air flow through the rad, when you not moving. You should be able to check this with the car stationary.

Yes sounds like cooling fan isn't working. Any check engine light? Make sure there is coolant in the system. May need a new fan motor or a coolant temp sender.
