Tired of brake dust ?
I sprayed my AMG wheels with ArmourAll wheel protectant on July1 and after 1 month I have a slight granular film of dust which can only be seen up close . Before my wheels would be covered in black grime after just 2 or 3 days ! Amazing product !

Hmmmm my be worth considering.
Brake dust is a constant annoyance. Makes me think about black wheels with only the spokes silver.
But if this keeps em clean then I'll keep the silver wheels.

Despite the general negative performance of Armor All products, this is one I can actually stand behind. It's not the best out there, but for an OTC, it does the job surprisingly well. Prep is key though and be sure to avoid Chrome parts.

As far as wheel protection goes, by far the best product I've used is called Rejex. It's a polymer coating instead of a wax or polish and it does an outstanding job. Coupled with the akebono pads = great looking wheels all the time.

Just did a quick search and it seems that Akebono doesn't make a replacement pad for the prefacelift C63. Only found them for the fronts of 2013+.So likely a supply to Australia issue. Like I said, your best bet is probably going to the C63 forum section and see what others are running.

Just a shot in the dark, but worth running down as a potential option.... When I got my Brembo GT big brake kit for my C300, I was told (unverified) that I could get the same pads as OEM C63 AMG brakes (which are also made by Brembo). I had swapped out the pads for my Brembos with Akebono pads. Don't have the part number handy, but I'll take a look. So although Akebono doesn't list it specifically for C63 application, there might be an Akebono option that would work.
You can also try EBC Red Stuff as solid ceramic alternatives. Can also check Centric (makers of StockTech) Posi-quiet ceramic pads.
