simple, i made part of the chrome black, removed the eyebrow parking lights and connected a flex led tube and placed it inside with glue that can resist very high and low temps.
you have to modify/demolish some parts though
the tube is this:

euh? the lens isn't closed or sealed off
if you open one of the caps to replace a bulb and blow in some moist it go's into the lens as well

Correct, but if you remove the lens and dont get a proper seal, now not just moisture will get in, but heavy water when you wash your car, and that wont evaporate.

A bad seal will be equivalent to not replacing the bulb caps.
True if you open it once to replace the bulbs, moisture could get in. But once you replace that cap, the moisture will evaporate over time.
Now if you broke the seal and didn't seal it properly, moisture will always be getting inside. I've had this happen after replacing the glass headlights in older BMWs. It was very annoying.

rebuilding my old headlights
I have opened my car's headlights to paint them (go look at my other threads) and when I put them back together I didn't add any extra glue I just reheated the old glue and put them back together and made sure they were closed completely all around the edges.
