Samsung Galaxy s4 crashes Command
I've searched the forum and haven't been able to come up with any recent or similar symptoms.
Whenever my phone connects via Bluetooth, the Command freezes and after about 20 seconds reboots and then crashes and reboots every 30 seconds or so.
I've had the car to MB who confirm latest Command software is installed. I then went to Samsung who after several suggestions gave me a new S4 phone. But the problem persists.
My previous Samsung S3 died, but previously connected without any issues.
Has anyone had similar issues?
Thanks,
John

The same thing happened to me. First I thought it was the battery, so I changed the supply battery. After a few days the problem resolved itself. Today, I activate my satellite radio and 3 minutes later it's back to crashing and restarting. every 45 seconds like clockwork.

My S4 crashes Command. Its something to do with the BT stack used on the S4. Some people have loaded different roms and fixed it, but i have not tried that. My S4 is asking me to update to Lollipop im hoping this will fix it for me

As the OP, here's my update. I eventually returned to MB about a month ago, and insisted that I was prepared to pay for a Command software reinstall, even though they advised last time that the installed software was the latest. I had hoped that a bug had crept into the system.
When I collected the car, I was advised that in fact an update was now available, and was now installed in my car. That totally solved my problem.
I hope that helps others who have the same issue.
Just for info, my S4 has the Kernel version 3.4.0.

Bluetooth firmware update
Can you provide more specifics, software/firmware version, Service Bulletin, etc.? I've been to 2 dealers--they know nothing about it. Called MB USA in NJ. Seems like they no longer support anything about Bluetooth for MHI. They only support Bluetooth that's installed in the radio/Comand. I'm using 'puck' B6 787 5878. I understand its firmware is not smart enough for current phones. Since I've started using Galaxy Note (an older phone), the receiver of my calls say it sounds like I have the top down; the reception is so noisy. Understand this is also a firmware issue. I see pucks with updated firmware for 2-300 USD on eBay. I've put so much into this Bluetooth MHI system so far (over 1500 USD); just don't feel like I should have to pay more for an updated puck. Think MB should be able to fix this.

Sorry I can't provide more info because I don't have any, other than my car was fixed with the update. Your car is a few years older so I presume any software update for my 2011 C250 CDI wouldn't apply to yours.
Too bad!
