I'm curious if anyone here has swapped the front seat lower cushions in their W204. That is, moved the driver seat cushion to the passenger side, and the passenger cushion to the driver's side. The purpose would be to balance the wear on the seats where the driver's seat gets more use.

I've read through a few threads, and it looks like the actual process of removing the cushions is easy. See this post. But I haven't been able to determine if the driver and passenger cushions are actually identical.

I've got a 2012 model (post-facelift) with leather seating package. This means I have 10-way power seats (with memory settings) for both the driver and passenger. While the seatbacks themselves are different (the driver and passenger seat backs are mirrored), the bottom cushions appear to be identical and symmetrical to my eye.
