2013 c300, I bought it used with a new set of Good Year Eagle Sports on them and they are VERY loud. What do you run that is quality and quiet?

Thanks
Chris

Uhhh, well your first mistake is having Good Year tires (Which I know wasn't you idea, but just saying lol)... I'd go get either Michelin or Continental.

Michelin if you want the best ride/road noise imho ^.^

Continental is what comes on the car from the factory.

A month ago I purchased an '09 C350. The dealer had put on new Federals SS. They were so loud it became a deal killer so they credited me $500. They were as loud as studded tires. I put on Sumitomos because my previous car was a Porsche 911 and they(Sumitomos) are loved by the Porsche guys. They're nice on my Benz. I'm happy with them. Inexpensive too.

Thanks guys I will remember this, I am going to get new rims for the spring and then spend he cash to get good QUIET tires! figure with the winter coming soon I might as well just suck it up with the noise and keep the all seasons on the car. I don't plan on driving it much this winter but, just in case I have to.

Yea goodyear on our cars are extremely loud. Car originally came with Conti tires. After some shopping I ended up getting Conti Extreme Contact DWS. Amazing tires bud, and they are very quiet as well.

i just put the conti extreme contact dws 06 (the new version of this tire) on the rears... they are quiet and i'm happy with them so far. the fronts are still on the stock continentals and should last another few months at least.

Be careful if you have the 4Matic version. If you don't replace all your tires at once with an AWD system, it can lead to transmission issues...

not 4matic and staggered setup so i thought it was reasonable to just do the rears since the fronts still had plenty of tread left.

They are definitely more quiet. The also seem to be more grabby to the road surface and you can throw the car easier with them on. Great tires.

My Mercedes Rep bought the same tires for his ride cause i was talking about them so much. Took them on a 6000km road trip and said that they were perfect.
