New C300 Sport owner
Hello everyone. I recently have been lurking the benz forums and decided on this place as my new home. A lot of knowledgeable and factual info in these threads. I was fortunate enough to fall into a 2011 C300 Sport mars red with only 5,600 miles. Yes that's right. I had to do a double check myself. It's in great shape except when grandma pulled to far up in a parking spot and scored the front lower valance area but otherwise shes tight.
I hope to gain knowledge and share knowledge as I've been around and owned/maintained many vehicles in my time. 16 years in the auto industry as a Srvc manager, writer, tech etc. From 1996 C4 Grand sport to my wifes 2014 Accord sport, I've seen a bunch and gathered much info on the way.
Just picked up a few cosmetic items for the car as well as standard maintenance. Will start turning wrenches on it in the next couple weeks and hope all looks as good as I hope.

+1. You will get some HATE response from real AMG owners in here just FYI. I would suggest getting rid of it or even remove all of the decals to make it really clean. When I was looking for a C300 long time ago the mars red color was the one I was looking for and here in Vancouver you rarely see them.
Put a nano coating on that paint like CK quarts and you will drool on the sleek, wet look of that color.
I will say if you will be adding cosmetic stuff with your car go with black or carbon fiber and you will be a looker.

I could get away with it. Now had I put S63 on it, I SHOULD get flamed

Welcome to the forum. I love the Mars Red on the C-Class.
Considering someone removed the factory emblems, then popped on that AMG badge, I would pull it off...as I've always said, the people who don't know AMG won't be impressed and the people who do know AMG will know better and
