Post How-To: Tapping into the extra slots on the fusebox connectors

So I'm in the process of figuring out how to tap into the rear fusebox. There are extra slots in some of the plastic carriers so it's just a matter of getting the right pin. I know this can be done since SMART owners do this and some accessories for the W204 come with fusetaps that plug right into the fuse box.

For now I just bought a bunch of connectors/terminals because the EPC (electronic part catalog) is somewhat vague. The measurements are from the description of each pin in the EPC. Here's what I have:

A011-545-84-26: 0.5 - 1.0 mm - Good for 18-20 gauge wire

A004-545-52-26: 1.0 - 2.5 mm - Good for 16-18 gauge wire

A004-545-00-26: 2.5 - 4.0 mm - Good for 14-16 gauge wire

A007-545-41-26: 4.0 mm - Looks like its for multiple 14 gauge wires?

A004-545-95-26: 6.0 mm - Good for 12-10 gauge wire

Then these which were sent to me by mistake:

A006-545-46-26: These are for the G-class glow plugs

I have no idea why these were sent to me since I ordered 2x of A007-545-40-26 and 1x of A007-545-43-26. But instead I got what was pictured above.
The G-class isn't even remotely in the same class as my C350.

Well that's it for now. I'm planning on adding extra 12v outlets near the rear fusebox. I will be doing that this weekend so I will keep this thread updated.

This car is rather lacking in 12V outlets. It could stand to have an inverter too.
