Exhaust

Hello,
Is there a way to change the note of the exhaust without compromising sensors, warning lights, or emission testing...I don't want to have to purchase new exhaust, or remove any parts, but rather just tweak something to make it deeper or have more 'throat'.

Cheers

Usually people go with the good ole X Pipe mod. Magnaflow part #10790, got mine for about $90. You can check on youtube, there's tons of c300's and c350's with just the X-Pipe.

edit: woops my mistake...***10790

I went with the Magnaflow 10790. The OEM exhaust piping is a 2.25 so I just bought the pipe that is the same. I am not sure what difference the extra 0.25 inches will give you.

I'm in Canada and that might be a problem for emissions

Doubt it man. It doesn't mess with emissions at all. Just keep your CAT's in

I have the Magnaflow X pipe and there's a change in tone at WOT. It has a deeper sound now though I must say that there's a lose in volume a bit.
