c300 flashers rear after recall

c300 flashers rear after recall
had recall done for rear lamps on my 2009 c300. since then when i flash my light flashes correctly for a second or two then pops up a warning message in dash and switchs bulbs for safety , does it on both sides. dealer says has nothing to do with the repair but it didnt do it before. any help would be appreciated!!

Go into your trunk. On the two sides are two small tabs to turn and will open the compartment to the rear lights. The lights circuit board is clamped to the light lenses with small tabs, just push the tabs a bit and pull gently and the entire thing should come out. The assembly should look like this:

Pull out the main wire connector. The main problem with the recall is the brown wire that is ground. The malfunction is that it burns/melts the surrounding plastic. If you can pull the main connector out and see visible melt/burn, then take it back and tell them to redo it. They clearly didn't do a good job.

It is up to them to prove that they did not damage or somehow misconnect your indicator wiring while working on your indicator wiring...seems pretty likely!
If they won't budge, call MB USA
