2013 c300 backup camera
I just picked up a 2013 c300 yesterday and when I backed into my driveway I realized there wasn't a camera. I was wondering if I can add one? If I can where can I get one

Yes you can as long as you have COMAND or MM pack. There are a few threads in the first few pages of this forum on how to do it. Some setups range from $20-$40 while others $200. It all depends on what quality of camera you want to get. I did mine for around $40 and I find the camera quality perfectly acceptable.

The Comand has a larger and higher resolution screen. I think Video will also appear on the top menu.
The W204 C-Class cameras are terrible. But they are better than nothing.

Fastest way to know if you have comand that can accept a rear view camera is by pressing on the SYS button then selecting Settings. Under settings you should see an option for rear view camera. If so then you can install a rear view camera. There is thread that provides instructions. Use the forums' advance search function for 'rear view camera' for W204. Was able to get this done on my 2012 X204 with a camera from EBay and a fakra cable from MidCity Engineering

I don't regret not having one because any decent aftermarket install would certainly have better image quality.

There are aftermarket options but they won't integrate to the display. I believe a GPS provides rear camera function with an included camera.
Your other option is to retrofit a COMAND unit or an aftermarket head unit.
Use the search function to see what has been discussed.

This is the kind of interface module a shop would install. I received two quotes in San Diego for around $1,400 including module, camera and labor. Would give video to the 5.5" display and a camera can be attached.
