Tires: yellow dot balancing

Hi, its my understanding that the yellow dot indicates the lightest point on tire and should be aligned with the valve stem. My new tires were installed and I noticed that the yellow dot is opposite (180 degrees) from the valve stem. However I do not notice any balancing issues-- car runs smooth. Should I worry about this as long as the tires are balanced?

Yes, that was the case. With current balancing machines (e.g., "force balance") aligning the yellow dot to the valve stem isn't necessary. If the balance seems good to you, it probably is
