Continental DWS 06. Running on a C350 sedan. If you don't ever get snow, I would go with a summer tire instead.

We've been lucky this year and had nothing but it's normal to get a couple ice / snow events each winter here. The DWS 06 seemed to be a good performance tire that could handle the occasional winter weather and a good compromise for a commuter / daily driver car. If I were up north I'd do separate rims for snow tires and summer tires.

Also long tread wear is important for me.

Do the w205's have a spare? My 2 previous cars came w/rft's (BMW's) Really harsh ride due to the stiff sidewall. I have the contipro contacts on mine. 500 utqg gonna last a while. Ride is super smooth and quiet. I'll likely go with the pilot supersports next. If you want a good touring a/s I recommend the conti's. Haven't tried a summer tire on the benz so I can't recommend anything other than that.
