Small panel on front bumper

Anyone know what that little panel is on the front bumper? I was using a clay bar around it the other day and accidentally pushed the top part of it in. I was able to move it back some but was wondering if I could pry it out somehow and reset it.

are you talking about the headlight washing system panel just under the headlights? or the one tow hook small panel on the right side of the front bumper?

Must be the tow hook. I don't think I have headlight washers. At least I hope not. I had them on my old car and it could empty out the reservoir faster than I could refill.

That gave me enough info to find it in the owners manual. Basically you push in on the direction of the arrow to remove. Which is partially what happened. I guess I need to take it out to get a proper reseat. I was wondering what that hook was for in the toolkit.

hahaha ya old cars kill the reservoir
this is the system. on the w204 it only works every 10th time you use the fluid to clean your windshield so its not super bad.

it pops out pretty easy I tried the tow hook licence plate and don't really know how i feel about it so I went back to the front plate till I decide. when I put it back it went back to perfect position so I didn't have issues.
