Why does charging iPhone turn off Bluetooth?
My iPhone is connected via Bluetooth to my car (2013 C300). When I then plug the phone into the USB port to charge, the Bluetooth is disabled and the nav screen says the device is unreadable, and I have to reconnect it. Why does this happen and how can I stop it, so that it doesn't disconnect? Thanks.

I don't drive my car much, but today I did and I plugged the iphone into the USB first and then start the car. It went straight to the radio and did not try to read from the iphone.
The reason why it stops whatever mode you are in is because the USB port is a port to the system, the system is trying to read what is connected via the USB and cancels whatever mode you are currently in.
