Audio problem
Hi I am having some audio issues with the driver side speakers on my 2008 Mercedes c300 sport 4matic w/Harman/kardon sound system. The problem is low audio output from that side plus no bass from it. I have went into engineering mode before and accidentally reset audio parameters so idk if that would have cause the open circuit error which are for the speakers I'm having the problem with. So could they have blown? Any help would greatly be appreciated

Are you getting an open circuit code? My first guess would be a wiring problem. I'm not sure if it's an issue in the C-Class but many cars can get issues in their door's wiring harness. It comes from all the movement they go through.

Yes it's an open circuit code . would there be anyway of fixing it I mean it still got audio from it but no bass

I'm not expert on these things but I'd take the panel off and test the speaker. If that's ok the harness could be replaced. I'm not sure how hard of a job that is but I see them listed for $30. The trick is usually in accessing the body side of the harness. That and who knows how many options there might be on the harness.
