For reference, on our 2008 C300 with 110k miles, the biggest ones I remember are shock absorbers due to clicking noises when warmed up, a steering angle sensor due to a DSC error and a cut fuel breather line due to incorrect routing. This was all before warranty expired so I'm glad they came to light early. In my opinion not bad for a car this old, and certainly not bad for a first year run (built 2007). It hasn't been to the dealer since my last warranty claim. Car was purchased brand spankin new.

Click my signature to see what it took me to keep the car in relatively good shape. Maybe you'll get a better idea if the one you're looking at is a problem car necessarily.

How about transmission service? From what I've read on here the 4matics will self destruct if not not serviced.

If you notice there have been multiple concerns about the AC. They have added dye for testing on last visit. Did they ever find the issue? If not, you will certainly be dealing with AC issues down the road if they don't isolate.

Also you mentioned a sport so possibly not a 4matic vehicle.

Thanks for the reply to all,
as far as the transmission service I will need to ask that from previous owner because in papers it didn't show anything about it and im assuming they haven't done one or else it would be in paperwork and I wonder if the previous owner before has done it, is there any way to check this on the vehicle ? I mean, with 76k it should be due for its second one correct?
I had the pre purchase performed on it prior to buying and the specialist tested everything and said all seemed fine and ac was blowing cold and heat was hot not sure how else to look any further.
sorry guys, im new to Benz

No need to apologize. Research is what brought you here. I'm new to Benz also. Like my car but still miss my turbo bimmers. Never hurts to ask good sir. I didn't read the op as I'm on Percocet from my spine surgery so..yeah...whatever
