Need help with Grille installation

Hi Guys,

So I bought a grille off ebay and I am having some trouble with installing it.

My Pain points are

-OEM T-bar doesnt fit

-Bottom does not snap on.

Does anyone have any experience with this grille or this seller?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/281928153049?vxp=mtr
I tried looking up DIY guides and videos but didnt get a clear answer to those points I listed.

I contacted the seller and they suggested I take it to a professional as they might know a secret or 2 about installing it. I am not sure how hard this is suppose to be but as a first time car DIYer im struggling....

Any help would be appreciated!

Tbar is 26$ at the dealership the coupe grille has a longer t-bar and I just installed an OEM Coupe grille it took about 30 minutes as I didn't want to break anything i found once i got everything put in i forgot to push in the bottom tabs i had to grab the mesh part a pull quite hard for it to snap in place after you could hear the clips click in place if that didn't work i would of took everything a part again and pushed it from the back end hope that helps

also people ignore the Tbar and just install it with the bottom clips so if you want to do that just take off the Tbar and clip in the bottom and put it al back together you get less support but I've read people have had it like that for years with no issues because the clips on the bottom are strong and the side clips hold it all in place do at your own risk lol

edit: google this A2048851136 i think this is the part number for the longer Tbar but double check

no worries take your time the first time always takes longer if i was to to it again it would take 5 minutes.

i used this picture for help

heres a tip for the 2 vents push the clips down and use some force on the narrow end the side closest to the fenders and pull quite hard this part took me the longest i was scared to break anything but you really need to put some force to get them out. I found that that hardest part after that its all fairly easy

Sweet. I was able to get the grille off, but I did notice that I only had one of those vents but the right side had a cover on it. Makes me wonder if something happened with my car. Learning new things about my car everyday LOL

Finally did it!

Finally got the grille to snap on. It's no joke when you need to pull on the bottom hard. Here's some before and after pictures.

Before

After

I have the longer t bar and I'd need to get the shorter one if I decide to add extra security. That made me realize whoever had this car before me switch out the grille with the coupe one and didn't swap it back in. Either way. I'm super happy with this. Thank for the advice newmbmarko!
