Need some advice

Hi all,

I know its an old topic and somehow I need a firm answer before I order a set online.

The vehicle is 2013 C300 4Matic Sport with the AMG body package, it sits lower with a 18" staggered. Everything is stock. And I am in the process of getting a new set of 18" staggered wheels.

Currently I have
(F)18x8 ET50 with 225/40-18 and (R)18x8.5 ET54 with 255/35-18.

Target set
(F)18x8.5 ET45 with 225/40-18 and (R) 18x9.5 ET45 with 255/35-18.

I went through the Tire rim calculater tool from the site and it came back as follow.

(F) Inner Clearance: 1.35mm less, Outer Position: extend by 11.35mm
(R) Inner Clearance: 3.7mm less, Outer position: extend by 21.7mm

Does it means the new set is too aggressive and will rub the fender?

Tks in advance.

Factory ordered 2012 MB C350 w/Dynamic Handling Package
I can tell you with certainty that the following combo will NOT rub.

MY CURRENT Wheel/Tire setup
Wheel (F): 5-112 18x8.5 +45/66.6mm
Wheel (R): 5-112 18x9.5 +45/66.6mm

Tire (F): Michelin Pilot Super Sport
Size: 235/40R18 95Y XL

Tire (R): Michelin Pilot Super Sport
Size: 255/35R18 94Y XL

FYI...I originally tried 265/35-18 in the rears and those DID rub.
