Additions to 2014 C250

Hey guys! So I just purchased my 2014 c250 and in my area there are a lot of them and I want to make mine just a little more unique than the rest. What can do/add to the car that also will not void the 50k/4yr warranty. I'm getting tints and want to add a subwoofer but idk if that will void the warranty. Any suggestions would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks in advance!
(Also any way to make it a bit louder would be nice, previous car was a g37 and I miss the noise)

you can add a subwoofer and not worry, I added one when mine was under full warranty the dealer never said anything about it. I even think when my car was in service they were playing music out of my car hahaha.

if you want the car to sound louder add an X-pipe its the best way to add a little more sound and it really only costs $100 to install and $80-150 for the xpipe depending on where you live.

If you want more noise you can add a different muffler (magna flow or Borla) to give it another level. I find the X-pipe makes the car sound like its in sport all the time it really gives it more sound.

Theres lots you can do if your worried about voiding warranty the best ting to do is ask the dealer. They will usually tell you straight up.

In the US warranties usually aren't voided unless it can be proved the modifications caused the damage. Plus it's not in the dealer's best interest to void your warranty either. That's an easy money stream for them.

Would this be about what it would sound like? I couldn't find to many videos. And thanks I think I will go add the subwoofer.

That's a 2008 C250 which has the V6 engine, 2014 C250 has 4-cylinder turbo engine so it will sound quite different. It will sound something more along the lines of this video, but the car has both muffler and resonator delete.

What do you think of that sound in your opinion?

I don't think videos ever do it real justice, I was debating for a year to get an xpipe. One day i just said f this I'm going to. I have no regrets it sounds better in person than in any videos out there.

but to me the video sounds good but i bet he has drone(i personally would just get the x-pipe not the muffler delete).... even with the x-pipe you get a bit of noise, its not a big deal it kinda sounds like your in sport mode every time you hit the throttle you get a sound. It's defiantly not quite like OEM but its tasteful if that makes sense. hahaha

again its all your own personal opinion, get what you like!

It sounds good in my opinion, sounds like a turbocharged 4-Cylinder should sound. I've always liked that sound...kinda reminds me of a Mitsubishi Evo.

Great thank you guys so much! Also happy it wont void warranty lmao. Do you guys have any other suggestions? Maybe any affordable nice rims or a good set of tires I could add. Would bars help handling?

If you can run summer tires Michelin Pilot Super Sport are a popular choice. They are the highest rated ones on Tire Rack. My original Continentals up front are getting noisy and I'm thinking of replacing them even though I have plenty of tread.

I've thought of adding bars at some point but I have a bunch of other things to get to first. It's already a solid car from the factory.
