Turn Off Anti-Glare Feature (Rear View Mirror) 2013 C-250
I've only been driving this car for three days, so this is probably a dumb question...but, how do I turn off the anti-glare feature on the mirrors - especially, the rear-view mirror. I understand it's a 'safety' feature and a lot of people like it, but for me, it makes switching lanes or merging onto the freeway at night difficult, because I cannot see clearly...so it becomes a very dangerous 'safety' feature.

Someone else chime in, as I am new to my W204 as well and I know close to nothing about it.
But my truck has the same anti-glare and dimming feature on the rear view mirror and even side mirrors. What I discovered is that there is a sensor somewhere on the dash or near the mirror on the truck, and if you put a black piece of electrical tape (or whatever color your dash is) over the sensor, it will prevent it from engaging, as the car will always think it's completely dark at night and won't detect the lights behind or in front of you. I don't think that there is an option to disable it though. But I may be wrong.
