2009 W204 (T Model) Offside boost pipe relacement
Hi,
Has anyone done this, and can advise on how easy a job it is or has anyone come across any videos online? I am being quoted £400 for MB to change it (which sounds extortionate). Also, is it just an air pipe or does it contain oil, the technician said mine is leaking oil...? I would be comfortable changing an air hoe, less so with draining oil systems etc.
Finally, can anyone recommend where I can get a cheap genuine part - I have tried eBay but they only have used parts.

To remove it, push the pipe towards the throttle body and then pull the metal ring up and then pull the pipe off. Same deal with the intercooler side, push towards the intercooler pull the ring and then pull the pipe off.
Yes, there will be oil in there, I think they all do, I know mine did.
