5x112 to 5x114.3 Adapters

Anyone on here running 5x112 to 5x114.3 hub adapters? I'm having a hell of a time trying to find wheels I like in the 5x112 setup. The JDM 5x114.3 opens up endless options. I'm trying to determine what a 1" adapter would equate to in offset, and how all of you who did this went about it.

I haven't heard of anyone doing this. But there are people who get their 5x114.3 wheels re-drilled to 5x112 by companies such as http://www.vrwheels.com/ http://www.threepiece.us/

Coming from JDM cars this isn't usually an issue lol. I found a thing called "wobble bolts" yesterday which should bolt 5x114.3 wheels to our cars. I think I'll go that route so I can keep the lower offset and get some more concavity to the wheels vs running higher offsets and hub adapters.

VW guys use them. Youtube "wobble bolts". ECS Tuning has a video they uploaded on them. Essentially they have a washer on them that adapts to the x114.3 size. Some wheels are plug and play and some you hve to sand the lug holes ever so slightly.

You can also try a company called adaptadec or something. They basically make spacers that bolt using your existing bolt pattern but allow you to bolt different pattern wheels to the spacer.

Wobble bolts AKA PCD variation bolts work great. I ran them for over a year. Never had any problems.

Since w204s need a high positive offset, youll probably have better luck using wobble bolts. For example, my rear wheels were 18x10.5 with a +25mm offset. No way I was going to be able to fit those thick PCD adapters.

Heres some info:

Yeah I know about wobble bolts but I'm going to skip that route because they lack the locking ability. I prefer to have wheel locks on my wheels. I'm probably going to go with the redrill route of the faces.

True, I never worried about it because my car was always parked in a secure location.

Or you could use something like this: https://www.ecstuning.com/Search/Wheel_Locks/ES260952/

Easier, but kind of weird looking IMO.
