AC blower motor? Problem?
When i got my oil change a few days ago, a mechanic said he thinks its my AC blower motor? I think?
Also, the fan, behind the grille, is loud. Normal?
After some research, its not the fan that makes the car sound loud when i turn it on, it literally, winds when i push down the gas ONLY when the AC is on.....
any ideas from you guys? Thanks

This could very well be the belt tensioner. With a load, it may sound louder. I would think you would hear it however with or without the AC on to some degree. The blower motor can also make a sound if the internal bearing is failing. This should be easy to pinpoint when engaging/disengaging the fan operation. The fan behind the grill will be loud depending on the rpm of the blades which in turn is effected by head pressure of the system. That sounds normal to me.
I turn my car on, get in and pull out to a stop. When i gassed it with the AC on, it made the noise.
When i gassed it without the AC button on, but the regular fan on, it was not as loud, wasnt sure if i was hearing it or not actually.
When all is off, no sound. Just the benz rev.
But it only happens when i am pushing the gas, never at a standstill.
