Hi everybody,

I recently got a C250 2012 (before the facelift) from my father and I am loving it.
Only complaint I have is the small 5" screen and lack of connectivity (no bluetooth streaming or ipod). I was looking to upgrade the small 5" screen and saw a couple options on the web. Has anybody ever tried installing one of these and if so, how was it?
Or are there other alternatives? I was hoping not to have to rip out the head unit and the COMAND unit and just have a plug and play option

There was a thread a while back. From what I recall it was a quality product that worked. I believe it's more of an add on than an integrated OEM solution. I don't think the navigation would work with the instrument cluster and such but it is the next best thing for a fraction of the cost. Too bad they don't make those with an LTE or WiFi option.

Yea, i wish there was a component for getting data to the unit, but it's looking like a better option compare than dropping 1.5k for an NTG4.

I couldn't find the thread you were talking about, any idea if it's easy to install?

Going by memory again I believe that it was a rather easy install. I think the seller(s) may have the info on that.

I think people were doing this as an option over paying to get the maps upgraded.
