I received my longer chromed lug bolts today in preparation for wheel spacers. I have some 5x112 spacers from a previous car, but they are not hub-centric. Can I use these on my C or should I order hubcentric spacers ??
You would be better off using hubcentric spacers, or converting to a wheel stud/lug nut application. I'm doing the wheel stud conversion myself as it makes installing the wheels much easier, and there are more wheel lock options as a lug nut versus a stud.
From an engineering standpoint, no you can't use them without appropriate hubcentric spacers. I mean, you could use them obviously, and it's possible nothing will ever happen, but your lugs really aren't meant to handle those types of forces.
