Help with whistling sound after shut down -Video
Attached is a video of my 2012 C250 making loud whistling tone sound after shutdown. The sound continues for 10-15 minutes. Any thoughts or ideas? Thank you.

No not working . Do you have aircon in the car . Its the only thing that runs after shut down to cool the car inside. I am lost with this one .

I tried it with the a/c off and I am still getting the noise.

I can see why i am not able to read MOV files . I have no MOV reader. Never needed it before. Anyway , some one may come to your aid , after they read your post .

It sounds to be an electronic hum e.g. from a transformer, motor or speaker until the car electrics go to sleep.

There are so many automated things on this car that unless you can pinpoint the location, it is hard to trouble shoot. Things like the long to short manifold motors, the EGR , the vacuum controlled fuel pressure regulator, the Fuel vent canister, the MFM burn off system, the vacuum reservoir, etc. You need to get closer.

+1 to this, I can hear a similar noise if I turn on the car without starting the engine. I know the engine ECU has an "after run" process and sometimes takes a few minutes to fully shut down depending on ambient temp
