[Price Check] 2009 C300 Sport with 90,000 Miles
Looking to purchase the car from a friend. He's the original owner, serviced solely at the dealer and has the service history. Paint color is white.
Had 2 big problems. One was the ignition/steering wheel thing. So that's been fixed. I'll find out what the other problem was.
I'll make sure the transmission looks good.
What's this thing worth?

If one tire is worn, alignment is probably needed and I would replace all the tires. I know Discount Tire is having a Labor day sale $100 with 4 tire purchase.
Check the maintenance history. Make sure oil changes were done. Make sure the EIS/ESL was done properly.
No idea on the price. I wouldn't pay much for it. I paid around $16,000 for the 08 with 80,000 miles on it at a dealership. I've put around $6000 in repairs into it.

Yeah. If it was dealer I'd say $11,000; at first it sounded like a low ball so I wrote 14 but nah, no way its 14.
If he is your friend, 9.5k sounds good, but if you can go lower, the better of course.

I was told if the EIS or ESL goes faulty, both have to be replaced. That's what the dealership told me. Could be lies.
side note: When my dealership replaced both, somehow the dealership messed up the steering column and had to replace that on their dime.
