W204 amg sport plus, is tint / privacy glass stock?
Just bought the sport plus 2012 model, the dealer has no idea if the tint on the car is factory fitted or if it was put on by the previous owner.
Spoke to Mercedes they said it doesn't mention on the spec sheet that privacy glass is a standard feature.
My tints are too dark for night driving especially the rear. I can tell the rear passenger windows are
removable tints, but I'm finding it difficult to see if
the rear windscreen is tinted or if it's built into the
glass .
Anyone know if this model comes with privacy glass as standard ?
As I want to get rid of the level of tint at the rear.

Thanks for the replies, also speaking of the rear windscreen there is no wiper blade, how on earth do you get rid of built up rain drops ?
I just bought the car recently and am learning it as i go.

It's called you drive. If you want the rear windshield to not build up water then just wax or use Rain-X. Anything over 30mph would make the water streak off. I've deleted the rear wiper on every car I owned that had one. They are tacky and unnecessary unless you drive an SUV.

It would be odd to have the back window tinted from an aftermarket shop and not at least the rear doors also. If you plan on getting a lighter tint installed then a good shop can remove and replace the tint. If you want to just remove the tint, let me know and i can give you some helpful ways of doing that as i used to be a tinter.
