2011 c300 won't start, flickering tach when off...

So, I woke up this morning and was going to work and my car didn't start. It's not the battery, everything works fine, it just won't ignite. What's more, the needles on the dash flicker/bounce when the car is OFF. I uploaded a video to YouTube that you can check out.

It gives me a slew of error messages such as "check coolant, air bag malfunction, srs malfunction, cruise control, abs, brake everything malfunction"

First thing I did was add more coolant. But that's clearly not the issue. Anyone know what's going on? Do I have to get a tow truck and get it to the dealer or can any shop do it, or can I do it? Thanks for any feedback!

looks like a possible bad computer [ECU] or a bad electronic board on the gauge cluster.

So would you say I need to go to Mercedes Benz, or would a Firestone be able to fix this? I live 30 minutes from the nearest dealership, so I would need a tow truck. Where as, I live across the street from Firestone.

Agreed. No 'firepebble' when it comes to issues that require actually diagnosis and experience. Maybe the electrical portion of the ignition switch as well.

There's nothing that I hate more, then when I see a thread, and it directly relates to me, but the poster never answers how everything was resolved and what the issue was. So here's what happened.

Got it towed to Mercedes. Free towing, free rental. The next day, they call me and tell me that the problem was the "SAM." He said, the casing was distorted or something and water got into it, so that whole thing needs to be replaced, and some places just need to be dried. All in all, around 2k.

Thank your lucky stars that you chose a Merc and not a BMW
This would be happening quite regularly if you had made that mistake
