Engine RPM problem
I have some scary close call with my C300 a few times already. When coming to a complete stop the RPM of the car will not go down completely and the car will still try to jerk forward even though my foot is on the brake pedal. I got a finger by pedestrian yesterday as the car jumped a little bit and almost hit the guy and I cannot do anything but say the F word while trying not to pee on my pants as it is scary s**t! as I can't do anything. A few weeks ago I almost kissed the bumper of a Lamborgini so just imagine the horror I have when the car didn't want to stop (take note I was not playing "catch-up" with the aventador) I drive in S mode and not sure if it will happen in C mode.
The funny thing is that it will stay at around 3000 rpm for a few seconds then will drop quickly to idle. It is like something is still pressing on the gas pedal while I am pressing on the brakes. Although this only happens once in a blue moon I want to know if I have a major issue that should be dealt with pronto.
