Mysterious Front Driver Side Plug
Dear forum members,


I was vacuuming the interior of my car today when I discovered a mysterious plug adjacent to my front driver side seat. Please see attached picture.
I think I may have inadvertently popped it out as I was maneuvering the vacuum nozzle.

Does anyone know what it is?
More importantly, can someone provide me instructions on how to put it back in its proper location?

That's an unused brake pad wear sensor. Must have been dropped by a service tech at some point

^ Exactly. There is nothing to worry about OP. As far as it's proper location, it belongs on the OUTSIDE of the car connected near your brake caliper housing.
