Low Beam Bracket

forgive my ignorance for not knowing the part name but I replaced my low beam bulbs noticing that the drivers side just seemed to not be as bright. After removing the cover I instantly noticed it was loose and not secure in the housing. Instead of pushing the pin to remove the bulb I was simply able to just pull it back all in one assembly. After trying to secure it back into the housing I've given up and decided to see if anyone on here can help. It has three notches on it which I can clearly see should align with the notches on the small opening of the housing. I can't seem to get the darn thing to stay in place. Any suggestions on what this part is or how to get it secured again?

You need to pull the headlight assembly, pop it in the oven, bake it, open it up and have a look....Easy job to do and the internal brackets are really simple in their design
