Which fuse to tap?
Installed the illuminating benz light on the grille by tapping fuse 26 and grounding it out. Thinking that was the radio fuse, I thought it would come on just when radio is on, however the light stays on even when the car is off. I do not want to install a switch. What fuse under the hood can I tap into to make this only come on when lights are on, or like rear defroster or something like that? Any ideas? Thanks all

OK, Now I am confused haha. After about 2 hours, the light went out. Came back on as soon as I unlocked the door. What would cause that fuse to lose power only after a few hours? Seems weird haha

I think fuse 26 is the dome light fuse. Why don't you tap directly to parking lights? It's my setup.

Fuse 26 is COMMAND. So I am assuming that must stay on when the power is off for a short time. It seems like 10 minutes or so. How did you tap to parking lights? I want it on while driving at night. Ideally on when headlights are on. Its nice now because when I unlock the doors, it lights up and looks awesome.

Chaz you can also use your parking lights. I will rewire mine and use the parking lights instead because the illuminated star is on even during day time.
