Mercedes C-250 Sport
Smile Backup camera
So, I have been following the threads on backup camera installs with the idea that I would do it soon. I may be over reaching though, as I can't find anything about a backup camera in my command software. My car is a 2013 C-250 sport that does have sat nav, but it is the basic without sound. I'm thinking that my car may be too basic for the factory looking conversion. Thoughts? Info would be great though

2012 E550 v8-Biturbo
On my 2011 (which is the previous version of Comand IIRC), the backup camera is activated via the engineering menu. It won't show up in a normal menu.

There isn't anything in the engineering menu either. My ignorance is nearly complete here, but i am pretty sure there is no video input option that is on that menu.

My command screen has NAVI, RADIO, TELE and SYSTEM across the top. there is no VIDEO marker. Shall I need to find another way?

It only shows up when you’re in reverse. There’s no button.

Mines disabled
I disable mine. Not a fan. Do you already have one in a car? If not I'd try it out first. It might just be me being old school.
