2009 C300 mirror turn signal replace
I am new to this forum and my wife's c300...
Her passenger mirror turn signal had water condensation in it; I searched out how to open the mirror in order to replace this $20.00 part, after a few fruitless searches, I came across this video in German.
1 flathead screwdriver , 1 set of china torx screwdriver bits.
I saw on some posts on this forum some dealers asking above $300.00 for this job.
Took me 15 minutes, truly easy.
Removing the mirror is not as dramatic, pops right out.
Hoping it will help other members.

The glue holding the lens (culprit for the water inside), appears to be something comparable to crazy glue, hard and brittle, hardly something that could withstand extreme sudden temperature expansion changes and the usual knocks at the supermarket. . It appears that this part is not made to the standards we are used to.
I opened it with an exact o blade.
Surely could probably be re-glued and placed back into service.
Complete set outer side
Set back side
Ridge of the lens that provides seal with hard glue
There were no cracks or holes that I could see.
I ordered the entire light assembly from AutohausAZ; others have it too for about 40 bucks.
OE-2048200821 Door Mirror Turn Signal Light; Right;

Does this link help show what I am trying to say? It is the same part number as yours except left as I am in need of the drivers side. I was thinking of ordering it from here, but Autohaus does have a better price.
I found this video on YouTube as well.

Thanks for the information!
