Facelift Tail lights on Pre Facelift?
A local guy has a totaled 2012 C300 with front end damage that he is parting out. If I bought his tail lights and put them on my 2011 pre facelift c300:
A - Would they fit, both fitment wise as well as the wiring harness?
B - If they do fit, will they throw an error code?
C - If they throw an error code, is there any way around it or would I just have to live with it?
I was looking into the DEPO tails but this seemed like a simpler (and OEM) route if it would work.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

I assume your rear lights are not LEDs, and the one you are looking at is LEDs?
Mine is not LEDs front and rear, only LEDs are the mirror turn signals. I replaced front and rear turn signal bulbs with LEDs, works normal, no hyper flashing no error code.
Since it was just the bulb changes, it was simple plug and play with very little cost.

They are not. I bought the LED reverse bulbs from AZN Optics on here and installed them. I'll be transferring them over to the facelift tails tonight when I install them as well.

I know it's a late response, but go the OEM way. I did and am satisfied and have been since installation. Given that you are sourcing the tail lights from a wreck you should also be able to score the rear SAM from the same vehicle. Pretty much plug and play, maybe there was some programming of the SAM that the indi shop did for a nominal charge, but can't remember it's been so long. I think on this forum there are instructions as to what parameters have to be changed to have everything work correctly. Recently also updated the steering wheel to a W205 version. Sourced a new clock-spring/combination switch from Latvia (Cars365.com) and the steering wheel + air bag from Germany. Extremely satisfied. Tail lights work correctly with no error codes as does the steering wheel illumination .
