2009 C300 low gears transmission kick
I've got 46k miles on my 2009 w204 4Matic (I don't drive much). I noticed last winter that I get a kick on low gears. I'm guessing it's around 1st to 2nd gear or 2nd to 3rd. It's not the engine because driving on manual on 1, 2, and 3 gears is smooth. It's noticeable starting at cold but usually disappears when warmed up.
I spoke to my dealer about it and I was due for an A2 maintenance and agreed to do the 39k a transmission oil change. I was hoping the transmission oil change would do it but I still feel it. Not so much anymore since the weather is warming up but I'm worried this is a problem I should take care of sooner then wait for it to get worse since I hear about so many transmission problems with this model. Anyone else have issues like this?
