Hello.. this has happened to me like 3 times so far. I park my car without applying the parking brakes. When I start the car and i see the Flashing sign Warning saying Parking Brake on... Than I have pull press the Parking brake and release it again.. Kinda a strange..

I am 100% sure I never applied the parking brake in the first place. Why am i getting this warning ?

My car is still under warranty. Should i get it checked out asap ? Has this happened to anyone before ? Any suggestions ?

You're probably just lightly grazing the parking brake with your foot as you're getting into the car. Happened to me a bunch when I first got the car.

I am pretty sure I did not but I will be extra careful next time.. By the way when I had to press it again inorder to release it.. it was all the way up.

The point at which the warning light for the parking brake activates is not very far in at all. You can test this for yourself by pressing the parking brake slowly and lightly until the light turns on.

With the foot grazing thing what happens is even just lightly touching the parking brake causes it to engage a tiny amount and if this happens enough it eventually reaches the point at which the light comes on.

or a weak return spring on the emergency brake pedal.
if still under warranty take it in they will replace the whole Assembly.

Yea it is still under warranty. Will see if it happens once again or not.. or else will take it to the dealer and have it replaced.
