Installed the back-up camera kit over the weekend according to instructions. Not working--no image from the camera on the screen. Sent Aerowerkz an email--awaiting reply.

I had the same issue. Installed fine, but no video. Ended up sending it back.

That does not instill any confidence!
Did you end up installing another back up camera?

Nope... Really could not find another one other than a local shop that wanted 1k to install one. Was thinking about finding a rear view mirror that has a display in it (like my Toyota.) Never would have thought it would be such a PITA to find a backup camera for my MB.

Got a reply from Aerowerkz and came to realize that I didn't do the cabling properly. I know how to properly install now, but I can't get the darned LCD display screen out of the dash. It's like it's fused in there>

It's been awhile. But I believe the LCD had screws on both sides. Behind the plastic covers. Mine came right out.

Did you remove the two screws completely, or just loosen them? The video instructs to just loosen them a little.

Success!!

Finally got the display screen out (didn't back out the two screws enough).

Re-cabled the kit (properly this time) and now I have a perfectly functioning back-up camera!! YAY!!

Thanks to Aerowerkz great customer service to correct my mistakes.

I'm not able to follow the instructions. Where does the connections for arrows 5 and 6 go? I don't see what the center console has to do with the install. Also, what are the 'audio' cables for? Is there a microphone on the camera as well? Last question, how would you route the wire from the trunk to the head unit?

I'm very interested and I'm almost local (Huntington Beach).
