2014 C300 Transmission clunk
I just picked up a 2014 C300 with 20k on it. The transmission has a noticeable clunk when shifting from 3-4. It is still under the original factory warranty. It will go to the dealer next week. I am just curious of anyone else's experiences.

Mercedes-Benz vehicles are protected by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, covering defects in material or workmanship for 48-months or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first.
So assuming a 2014 could have been first sold as early as in March or April of 2013, you may be just outside of the 48 months of coverage.
I know in California, the date a car is first sold in printed on the registration card. So I would look there first. Otherwise, the dealer should be able to get that info for you.

Thank you both IGB and Colin G for providing correct information. I was able to get the car fixed at the dealer, Keeler in Albany NY (still under factory warranty until April 2018) . They did a software update and TCU reset. It drives like a totally different car. Perfect!!!

Yeah! Nice.
Did they charge you for the software update?
You should learn how to do a TCU reset since you'll have to do one once in a while anyway. The car learns your driving behaviour. I searched and found the info here and it is quite easy. Takes hardly any time to do.

TCU Reset
Steps to Reset the TCU. Resetting the TCU will reset transmission to factory shift points and the car will 'relearn' your driving style.
(1.) Turn the ignition key to the on (not start) position.
(2.) Press the gas pedal to the floor and hold for five seconds.
(3.) Turn the key to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.
(4.) Wait at least two minutes for TCU to reset.
Get out on the highway and really stomp on the pedal to accelerate and hold a high speed for a while.
