2013 C250 (W204) Driver Side Mirror
Had a little bump up last night and hit the mirror. It shattered the driver side mirror. The housing and everything is fine, but the glass is shattered. So looking to just replace the glass part....
So parts stores apparently don't carry it and dealers are saying a range of $1000-1200 for just the glass part not installed. That is just crazy...
What other options are out there?
The back has two black connectors and 1 white connector. I have found by reading on here the black is for heated feature and white is for auto dim feature. So I would like to keep these features, but not for 1000-1200. There has to be other ways that are much cheaper right?
1 dealer said I had lane alert, but I have never seen that in action so not sure they are right.

Not sure it is worth filing a claim over only a broken mirror. Insurance rates going up for the next 3 years would more than likely equal more than the $1,000 mirror. Plus not to mention having to pay deductible....
Just the glass part of of the mirror or the whole mirror and housing?
How much?
Are they dimming and heated just out of curiosity?
