bluetooth upgrade for stereo? other options
Hello,
I have a 2009 C300 Sport.
The PO upgraded the stereo in such a way, he removed the AUX port and converted to Lightning port.
Now, I cannot charge the phone while using, at the same time, the chord is small that I have to leave the phone in the glove box.
So, what are my options for upgrading the stereo for minimal cost?
My thoughts:
1. Change the chord back to aux port, so, I can extend the aux cable and use an FM transmitter to stream music too.
2. Problem with stock stereo is it can stream calls only, not music. Is there any recent firmware upgrade or hardware upgrade to achieve what I'm looking for?

First, change it back to aux. Then you can use this: [url=http://Besign BK01 Bluetooth 4.1 Car Kit Hands-Free Wireless Talking & Music Streaming Receiver with Dual Port USB Car Charger and Ground Loop Noise Isolator [ame]https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MSUWCZ0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_hMyMYhxdbZtFz]http://Besign BK01 Bluetooth 4.1 Car Kit Hands-Free Wireless Talking & Music Streaming Receiver with Dual Port USB Car Charger and Ground Loop Noise Isolator https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MSUWCZ0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_hMyMYhxdbZtFz[/ame]
I use this in my C300 and it works great! You can connect your phone to the car Bluetooth for phone calls and this device for streaming music.

BTW, what is the part number for reverting it back to aux port, instead of the 30-pin iPhone one I currently have?
