Regarding Extended Warranty by MB vs 3rd party vs Geico MBI

Hello all... I have browsed through few threads on this topic on this forum and currently in a dilemma which I am sure many of you have been in the past... whether to purchase extended warranty or not..

Currently under factory warranty till Jan 2018.

- What are your thoughts MB warranty vs 3rd Party warranties such as Endurance, Fidelity, CarChex and so on

- I have Geico insurance and read about the Geico MBI coverage.. If anyone has experience with it.. please do share..

I got a quote of 7yr/75k for $1813 extended warranty MBUSA from Jeff Jackson from Tafael motors ( i found his info from other thread on this forum ) How good is this price ?

Thanks in advance.

Fair price. I paid 2500$ Canadian for mine.

I don't have experience with third party warranty but MBs extended warranty has been truly fantastic. Paid for itself in one visit when I needed new front shocks.

Best investment ever.

Most importantly. No hassles e unlike what I hear are bad experiences with third parties.

Get the MB warranty, those other companies always have little tricks to try and get out of repairs.

You can't get MBI from GEICO for it, but it is a hell of a good deal! They only give it on brand new cars when first purchased, not used cars even if CPO. Sorry.. Next new car I get will have it!

Factory ordered 2012 MB C350 w/Dynamic Handling Package
I have Geico's MBI, and although I haven't had to claim anything yet, when doing my research, it was the next best thing to getting the factory warranty (value wise). It's even good enough for me to consider getting a "slightly" used car (on my next purchase) based on their criteria.

------------------
MBI is available for new or leased cars that are less than 15 months old and with less than 15,000 miles.
